The teacher

Drive-how is a personal driver training service run by John Forster. He is a fully qualified Driving Instructor, approved by the Driving Standards Agency [DSA], and a member of the professional Driving Instructors' Association.

John also has a wide experience in education and teacher training, so he understands how people learn and how to design effective courses and lessons.   Drive-how is a new driving school [established early in 2007] so the approach to driving is bang up to date and in line with the latest Driving Test requirements. 

I see myself as a teacher rather than an instructor. This means I want you to think about how you drive and to know how to use your skills to feel safe and in control, rather than simply following rules for the sake of rules or just to pass the test.
